Locations in Contour are hand-cast Jesmonite pieces engraved with the real land contours surrounding a place that matters to you — or to someone you care about. It might be a home, a favourite walk, somewhere you grew up, a wedding or honeymoon location, a memorable holiday, or a new home being celebrated.
Each piece takes its character from the landscape around your chosen UK location. In a very real sense, the landscape itself shapes the design, determining the density, spacing and flow of the contours across the piece. No two locations — and no two designs — will be quite the same.

Each Locations in Contour piece is individually cast by hand in Jesmonite before the contours of your chosen location are prepared and engraved into its surface.
Small variations in colour and finish are a natural part of the making process and mean that every piece is individual.
A natural finish
Locations in Contour pieces are intentionally left unsealed. This preserves the natural matt finish of Jesmonite and allows the engraved contours to remain crisp and tactile, rather than covering the surface with a coating.
As a result, the pieces are best treated as decorative objects and should be protected from oils, staining liquids and prolonged contact with water. They can be gently wiped with a lightly damp cloth when needed.

A digital proof will be sent to you for approval before your piece is engraved.
